Unbreakable Films is an Australian production company headquartered in Sydney, Australia with representation in Los Angeles and New York and founded in 2014 by Producers Mark Spillane and Kristie Spillane.
Unbreakable Films is an independent studio focussed on the development, production, financing and distribution of cross-platform film content for world-wide audiences.
Co-founder, CEO & ProducerMark Spillane is the co-founder of Unbreakable Films. He began his career in the music industry having enjoyed 20+ years establishing recording and publishing labels, live touring and artist management working alongside Sony Music and Universal Music. Mark has worked directly with music industry icons such as Aerosmith, Van Halen, Billy Joel, LIVE, The Screaming Jets and Jimmy Barnes to name a few.
In 2014, Mark turned his focus to expanding Unbreakable further into the entertainment space and launched a film and TV division of the business. In it’s first year, the business created the award-nominated television series ‘Bondi Ink’ that was subsequently distributed to over 50 countries through Fremantle Media International (UK) and fostered working relationships with companies such as Netflix (Global), Turner Broadcasting Organisation (UK & Latin America), Network Ten (Australia), Fuse TV (USA), Sony (Africa) and many more.
Now with a slate of over 10 films and television series currently in development and production, Mark has honed his innate ability to find innovative ways to build finance structures that fund and develop film and media projects to produce commercially and creatively successful outcomes. Working with bodies such as Screen Australia, Ingenious Media and as a founding partner in a proprietary media fund, ‘Upsense Media Capital’, Mark looks forward to building Unbreakable to be a global force in production, distribution and funding.

Kristie co-founded Unbreakable with Mark after over a decade of experience in business, marketing and media. She worked alongside a number of local and International companies, ranging from blue chip organisations to emerging brands as a strategist and trusted consultant to build brand equity and market share in key, global markets. In a pursuit of more creatively satisfying endeavours, Kristie left her corporate background to follow her passion for the entertainment industry.

Kristie now works alongside Mark to create, produce, fund and distribute film and television projects for markets around the world.
